Sydney Hail Storm 2018
On December 20th, 2018 Sydney and the NSW central coast were hit by the worst hailstorms in almost 20 years.
There have been thousands of insurance claims worth over $80 million in damage to homes and cars, according to the Insurance Council of Australia.
The damage was worst on the central coast and Sydney’s upper north shore. Hailstones as big as 8cm in diameter were reported in Berowra on Sydney’s northern fringe. Claims on caravans and Rv’s have been reported with major panel damage, windscreens and windows smashed. Aussie Hail and Aussie RV and Caravan Repairs have set up a repair location at 900 Pacific Highway, Lisarow.
