What is Paintless Dent Repair?

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is an industry recognised repair process which involves the removal of dents from the vehicles exterior surface panel through massaging the underside of the panel without disturbing the vehicles finish.

How long will my repairs take?

PDR Repairs: For repairs which are completed with the paintless dent repair method the repair timeframe is 1 week.
Combination Repairs: For repairs which include PDR, with some paintwork the repair timeframe is up to 3 weeks.
Conventional Repairs: For repairs which include PDR and roof replacements the repair timeframe is up to 4 weeks.
NB: These timeframes are a guide only and are subject to Parts availability.

Do you offer a warranty on your repairs?

We provide a statutory warranty on our repairs, please check with your insurer regarding the warranty they offer on authorised repairs.

Should I remove my child seat or baby capsule prior to repairs?

Yes, we will require these items to be removed from the vehicle so that we have access to complete your repairs. If removal is required to complete repairs, please be aware that our technicians are not authorised to reinstall child restraints — this will need to be done by you.

Do I need to prepare my vehicle before drop-off?

Please ensure your vehicle is clean and tidy (interior and exterior) and that all personal belongings have been removed prior to drop-off. Aussie Hail is not responsible for any belongings left in the vehicle.

If your vehicle has a roof rack or canopy, please ensure the relevant keys are provided at drop-off.

Do you complete re-calibration on the safety systems within my vehicle?

Yes. Aussie Hail PTY LTD provide re-calibration of all safety systems on vehicles. We have partnered with Texa and Hella Gutmann and all re-calibrations are completed to the vehicles manufacturers specifications.

When do I pay my policy excess?

Your excess is payable at or prior to dropping off your vehicle for repairs, as required by your insurer.

You can pay directly to Aussie Hail via cash, EFTPOS or bank transfer, or alternatively pay your excess direct to your insurer. Please note that credit card and PayWave payments may attract a 1.2% surcharge.
