Gold Coast Hail Storm

If it wasn’t enough that NSW got smashed with huge storms on December 20th, Qld decided to turn it on with an impressive hail storm on Saturday 22nd December 2018.

Giant hailstones were reported at several suburbs across the coast including Southport, Biggera Waters, Runaway Bay, Parkwood, Pacific Pines, Gilston, Surfers Paradise and Labrador. Many car and home claims have been reported through insurers with reports of huge wait times for customers to get through to staff.
