Storms, golf ball sized hail whips through Toowoomba region
Parts of south-east Queensland were hit by what the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) described as “pretty significant” storms on Thursday October 26th, that brought golf-ball-sized hail to the Darling Downs overnight. The BOM had predicted the storms would be severe, describing some of the systems as “very dangerous”. Toowoomba seemed to have been hit the hardest, with wind gusts of up to 90 kilometres per hour and golf ball-sized hail recorded in some areas. Aussie Hail have set up an Automotive repair location in Toowoomba at 71 Vacy Street, Newtown 4305.
